JDs are built just North of me. Interstate 35 hiway is a commonly used corridor for those tractor headed to Southern U.S. I frequent I-35 for 20 miles going to/from the County seat. I rarely make that trip without seeing at least one load of new JD equipment. Ten years ago a sizeable percentage were these tractors. My large farmer friend leased a couple of them to try. The number of them has decreased dramatically to the point of it being an exception to see one today.
My friend doesn't use them any more. His biggest complaint was that they rode rough and were hard on the attached equipment. Drivers didn't bother to slow down to cross small ditches in the fields so the equipment being pulled took a beating.
