Hey Richard. Congrats on the triple nickle rubber tired hoe as we used to call them. That brings back so many memories. When I graduated and went right to work in construction in 1975, and this was before excavators were born, we did all of our digging with 4 lever Ford 4500 rubber tire backhoes. That is what I ran to learn how to dig. A few years later when we got 555 rubber tired hoes, and we had 4 of them, it was like going to a Cadillac. They were all 4 lever machines. What an awesome machine. They were light enough to get around in the mud, but if you got stuck, you could run the stick and boom with the left hand and reach around and roll the front bucket with the right hand, and run all of the functions and get out of anything. They were awesome digging machines and the visibility for the front bucket to backfill and grade was awesome. How you could grade with the machine with the front bucket was unreal. I ran them for many years and thousands of hours!!! The best of all time. You got an awesome machine there! What a great find!! They were also very dependable machines. Let me know how yours is set up. It would be interesting to know.
