Super tall pickup beds

I have to think I am just one of many that is really sick of the height of new pickups. You need to carry a ladder on board just to reach them!

So tall, in fact, that it can prevent leveling a goose neck trailer.​

This becomes a real problem with flatbed haulers because it interferes with use of the fold down ramps.

This fella lifted his truck too much now it won’t fit in the garage lol. But good news, he can prob stand in his bed and clean out the gutters.

That's actually just an F150. Pictures are sometimes deceiving. If that won't fit in his garage he needs to build taller doors.

Not hardly. That's what we call in Missouri a "Monster Truck". Non licensable or drivable on public highways. Cute though.

It may have been mentioned already, but another result of taller trucks is a flatter floorboard surface. The hump is not as large as it once was.

For several years I used a metal slide in rack that utilized the lowered tailgate as well. Put that on my '75 1/2T Ford and fill it full of 220lb fathogs and she'd drive like a dream. Or was that a nightmare....

Only a nightmare if they were going to market and the price of pork was down.
