I have a late-90s L2900, and have been looking for a service manual for it
I have a line on the L2800-L3400 workshop manual. Is the L2900 close enough to the 2800 to make this manual worthwhile?
Thanks..
I think that is the same site as our site, open a few of the tabs and see how close (or NOT so close) they are. The L2900 is bigger...
Personally, I think the they are NOT going to be close enough, the L2900 is a Grand L - the Next model in time is Kubota L3010. I would think that model would be closer...
Kubota L4330, Ford 1700, JD 2210, Takeuchi TB135 Excavator
Yeah - the L2900 is the first version of the Grand L. L2800 to L3400 are much less tractor and quite dissimilar in many ways. It might be better than nothing, but the right manual will be worth it.

A Kubota dealer will have all WSM's and Operator's manual available to the dealership on line.
My dealer gave me free manuals for my M7040 and has given me manuals for other models because of my involvement in forums. All he asks is that I bring a USB stick.
I would start at a dealership as having a pdf manual can be so much better than a paper manual or a photocopy of a paper manual because the internal details of things like engine stop solenoids can be seen when you zoom in.
Even having to pay a modest amount it will mean you are working with the correct manual.
I have bought very good manuals on line for approx $10 from this site.
If you Google Kubota L2900 spec you will end up on Tractor Data. Usually they show you the models before and after your tractor. In the case of the L2900 they list no previous model but the following model was L3010 and the series was L3300
I have a WSM for a L3301, L3901, L4701. If you want it send me a pm with your email and I will send you a Jumpshare link to download it
