We have all the items except 2 Microwaves. Our Advantuim oven is a Cusinart Microwave/Convection oven.
Need to add a Ninja Blender. While it does not cook. It does make some tasty and healthy drinks.

Good morning everyone.

Phil- We got 7" of (reported 8:1) heavy wet snow yesterday that got packed down to ~3'' with the departing system's wrap around bands of sleet/some rain. This was a really strong system. If I remember correctly it bombed out at 972mB barometric air pressure.

It's dump day today. If the truck can get through the plowed snow bank at the end of the driveway that may be my snow management today.

Eric- I have no more room for another "essential" kitchen appliance in my "appliance garage." I do a lot of the cooking around here. I do have a heavy duty Dutch oven that I can barely lift empty and an ancient Presto pressure cooker that I do use regularly.........., but no "Instant Pot Cooker" for this household. No "air frier" either.

Everyone has at least upgraded and owns a microwave, right?

In 1968, I had a moonlighting job on some nights at the Marriott Hotel in Dallas. The restaurant stayed open 24/7 and the day cook (or chef) baked a big batch of biscuits every evening before he left. And at night, you could pop a cold biscuit or two into the big "Radar Range" in the kitchen for a few seconds and you had what seemed just like freshly baked biscuits. That was the first time I ever heard of, or saw, a microwave oven. But it was between 1972 and 1977 when we got our first one. And we've had one ever since. Early ones didn't seem to last too long, but that's sure changed. According to the manual, the Kenmore microwave installed over the cookstove in this house is a 1999 model. Still going strong, and used every day. We bought this house in 2006, prior owner was a singe man, and it didn't appear that he'd ever used the microwave, cookstove, or dishwasher, so they are all "old" but still good.

We got three Crock Pots for our wedding in 1975, the one we kept works as well today as 43 years ago. Been through about 4-5 microwaves, current unit is a GE over range unit with light and fan. We bought it when we built this house 6+ years ago. Got a very old but loved toaster/convection oven, no real idea it’s age. In the appliance pantry there are multiple things with cords, trays, baskets, etc... Plus all kinds of copper ware. No idea what most of it is supposed to be except for the grilled cheese sandwich maker.

Had a great GE microwave that lasted 30 yrs before it died. New one just not as good.

Wife does not want IP. She has this thing about pressure cookers. And my sister got one a couple yrs ago, and what she made in it didnt turn out, so my wife paints it all with the same brush.

My Mom had a thing about pressure cookers, my Dad often patched the ceiling above the range. I think "Go til it blows" was her motto.
