Haven't looked in the box lately but didn't look like much more than a cable and bracket or two. Didn't look that tough to install and I think I paid $60-65 from my local Kubota dealer. From the Kubota website:
The V4241 Engine Hand Throttle Kit is compatible with all RTV900 models and can be used to hold the engine RPM's at any level within the operating range. The V4241 comes installed on RTV900 Hydraulic Utility Valve units. The V4241 is required when upgrading any RTV900T unit with the V4246 Hydraulic Utility Valve Kit.
I know its an old thread, but my local Kubota deal had no info on the kit. Other then the price...$100 dollars. Looking for pictures of installation, instruction or a link to URL with more info. Next...were to buy one for the better price.

I have a X900 and installed the hand throttle kit. Took a half hour and it works fine. It did take some extra time on several occasions to fine tune the adjustments under the bed, but it is great. Cost something like $100.
I ordered one like this and fabricated a couple brackets to mount it. There is a knock out by the dump lever for the control and it works just like the factory throttle at quite a savings.
That's very cool!!!! One thing the Kubota system does is give you ability to make slight adjustments by turning the knob. This would be very handy if a specific engine speed was needed such as spraying chemicals, etc. If your system does that it's definitely a winner!!!
