41 this morning and headed to 51 today. Winter weather advisory for us this evening and over night. 2-4 inches of snow forecast.

Take care of birds. Then head to Louisville to visit a friend wife went to college with. She has bad diverticulitis lost a foot of colon this week. Don’t think she’s 40 yet. Then back hopefully before the weather hits.

New fans came in last week. They are now tucked snuggly in barn waiting for birds to leave so they can be installed.

25 fans on that load. I had to pull some straps off to go get rest of the fans with another trailer. Each fan is 57 inches and rated for 30,000 cfm. 32 total.

I am so jealous!

You won’t be ....in August!

You forgetting about June, July, and most of September?

House temp that's one thing wife and I DON'T see eye to eye  68 max for me,she comfortable 75+.
When we had that cold snap minus weather wood furnace got more lovin than I did.

IIRC, we determined a while ago that it can be blamed on the dog. Stay warm somehow my friends.

Drew, maybe you and your sister (and family) could meet at a nice hotel on a Florida beach? (Except for your Quaker meeting). I watched some old black and white video showing thousands upon thousands of spectators at old rowing events. Stands the whole length of the race. Similar to today's drag racing...except the crowd's cheering was the deafening sound.

Eric, is there any other way to help keep those little lambs warm? Or does the cold make their coats hurry in?

Tired here, slept until 7:55 am with the time change. Rare for me.

Hurrying to get ready for church. My wife is the Sunday school teacher.

Sorry about your wife's friend. My friend had the same operation. Doc told him with a stern face, "If you eat anything other than clear liquids while it heals, YOU WILL DIE."

Those fans look like a lot of work. Will you have some help? Can you use the FEL to position them?

Good Morning!!!! 51/f @ 6:45AM. Sunny. High 67F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

At least I think it's 6:45; most of the clocks are self setting, but when they reset seems somewhat arbitrary. The computers seem to do it at 3:00AM. Some of the others might take another 24 hours. The ones in the vehicles, I have to do myself.:confused2: No appointments until Thursday, so who really cares?

Finally heard from the mechanic. Now he needs a foot of pipe. For the clutch? I might be going to the steel supplier on Monday for him, and doing a little machining on it, because apparently it's not just any ol' pipe...:confused3:

Problem with the old bike's charging system was me not being able to see the positive and negative markings on the battery, and I had the power leads crossed up. The marks are cast into the black plastic, and were partially hidden by the frame rails. I think I'll touch them up with some white paint to avoid future confusion.

More bolt polishing today, as I forgot to allow for the saddlebag brackets. Also had to order some odd sized metric taps to clean out some threads on the carbs. Gotta love that two day free Prime shipping. My first batch of Brazil nuts will be roasted, no salt. For sure that won't affect the selenium content, but who knows what it'll do to the colesterol magic?

Hope everyone enjoys what's left of the weekend!

Good morning to all! Weather guessers wrong so far. I got up this morning thinking to see snow, it was 45* at 0600 or is that 0500? Anyway its snowing on the mountain, now they say 2-6" between 0800 and 1800. Supposed to have a 20* temp drop in an hour. We'll see. I would rather see rain.

Not much planned for the day...well there was, but not now. Going to watch the Grand Prix race, ussually don't get the chance to watch. Never get a chance to watch NASCAR since we got rid of the satellite tv. While watching, I have a few new ideas for the new house plans so going to review the plans again for about the hundredth time to see if my ideas work. I keep waking up throughout the night from the knee pain, only way to fall back asleep is to occupy my mind with something. So I think about the house plans and come up with new ideas.... Not sure if this is a good thing or bad :confused2:

Prayers out to Ed and family, Eddie and family, and all those needing them.

Everyone have a great day!

(Just looked out the window and it is now snowing, checked temp...dropped to 34*)

Apple fans will be especially interested to know that the entire interview of Steve Jobs that was videoed in 1995 is now available on Youtube. It's more than twenty years old now, but what Jobs has to say in many ways is as contemporary and relevant now as it was then.

The low was 17* for this morning, it made it up to the high 40's and sunny yesterday's. Looks like today will be a repeat of yesterday, sunny and in the 50's and a light breeze.

I need to do some plumbing work today that I was going to do a few weeks ago. Finally got the parts this week. Shouldn't be to much work, just need to fix a couple faucets.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday.
CWB.
