Hello everyone.. I'm Dave (the pc guy). My moddo is, if ya all break em I can fix em no problem. I buy, refurbish & re sell pc's & I spend lots of time fixing operator errors. Anyways if you're ever in the market for one or more let me know. It'll be at a great price & come with a warranty.
I found this site by accident & I'm glad that I did. I own a 1968 Yazoo yr60 riding lawn mower & I'm wanting to sell it. I'll get it posted in the next day or so. This would be a perfect restoration project or just run it until it won't go anymore lol. Good luck trying to wear it out!

Welcome.. & heres alittle story that you might appreciate.??
The IT guy at work was called down to fix a prob. w/ one of the parts guys computer..
The big boss, Mr. KNOW-IT ALL, as he was commonly referred to, was standing there watching & asking questions..
& in usual fashion, agreeing w/ EVERYTHING the IT guy said..
Then he asked about the "down time"..
The IT guy responded.. "wont take but just a minute.. it was an ID-10-T error.. I just have to clear it & we'll be up in just a few"..
The boss was in TOTAL agreement & went back to his Ivory Tower..
I asked him what an ID-10-T error was??
He said, write it out on a piece of paper.. small letters, no dash's, substitute letters for numbers.. "idiot".. hahaha..
BUT the big boss knew all about that "computer" problem.. Made him look like a DA & he didn't even know it.. Lol

I can really relate. Back when I was in IT my favorite sayings were OE - Operator Error & GIGO - Garbage In, Garbage Out.

I've had this Yazoo for a couple of years. I got it from the original owner. It had been sitting for 17 years when I bought it. I had it running in about 2 hours. It runs like new & it's a grass cuttin machine!

Many years ago (early 80's), I worked for a lawn care company who had a whole fleet of Yazoo mowers. They were indestructible as I recall, and you'd better wear your ear plugs!

Fast forward to 2007, I bought a new Yazoo/Kees Max2 ZTR. Built the same way, like a tank. I'm approaching 800 hours, and haven't even replaced so much as a belt! Just maintenance on the big Kaw v-twin. Fantastic mowers. A few years ago, Husqvarna bought them out, and ruined them. What a shame, I believe the original company went back to the 20's? For this reason alone, I will never buy any Husqvarna product.

Wish I had a reason to buy your old model....would be fun to tinker with.
