I've done a fair amount of research on that winch and it has been pretty favorable. You might want to look at this posting on the subject as well, and maybe this one too.

If you purchase the winch, make sure you let us all know what you think of it.

Thank you sharing the links. For "smaller" trees and "hobbyist-level" forestry, I do think a capstan wench offers some advantages. From poking around forestry websites, good quality, low stretch rope is key. Unfortunately, this type of rope is not cheap, but it does have several uses in the woods, so I can justify the cost.
I called Norwood yesterday and they do have them "in stock". They have a warehouse in Buffalo, NY, which is an easy drive.
After I get it I will share a report.

Congrats on the new Yanmar,looks like a nice rig.Be careful burning Iron wood;that stuff burns super hot and can take the grates right out of a stove.

Hop Hornbeam/ironwood does burn hot. We have a Jotul F3 and use the ironwood primarily for overnight burns where we have it choked down. It gives us the best coal bed in the morning.

Congrats! I love the way a ROPS tractor looks. Being in northern Ca I have no need or wants for a cab tractor. I'm happy with my M7060 ROPS!

Yes, the grill guard was down. The dealer had earlier gone through the maintenance items. I realized it was down when I put it away later.
