32 going to 52 with cold heavy rain coming in tonight and tomorrow, and then snow.

Still working on my big tree that I cut down...got a major portion of it cut and split yesterday afternoon, and will try to finish today before the rain gets here.

Pretty field, Don. I remember your pic of your harvest last year.

Good morning!

Yesterday and today are cold. Snow yesterday. Neither the roads department nor the head of our shooting club look at forecasts, I guess. I was feeling a bit sick Saturday night, so I decided not to go to the competition. I got an email at 7am that it was cancelled due to weather. I had called him on Friday wondering if we should really hold it, given the sub-zero temps and snow forecast. Good I didn't go, because I would have left at 6:30 to go to church in Michalovce before shooting, and that would have been a 25 mile drive for nothing. (Ironically, I have to drive in to the city to go shooting at the range there.)

When we drove for church at 10 in a nearby village none of the roads had been plowed or salted-- not even the main highway going to Ukraine. I skidded a lot going around one curve-- I'm not used to the roads not being plowed! Glad we didn't end up stuck in a ditch.

Sheep all stood outside for me yesterday to photograph them. Then they ran off. Why are sheep so much more nervous than goats?

Upper levels will be quite cold for late March, which means snow could fall a bit further south than in other
recent storms—from southern New England and the New York City area well into Virginia, with a band
of heavier snow possible for Philadelphia and Washington, D.C

Shoo shoo
don't you come down here and mess up my peach blossoms....

Sounds like you had a wonderful, "perfect" day... What more could you ask... A lady that can drive a tractor :D

I was impressed with her starting the diesel and backing out of the shed with loader and back blade, then she stops and asks, high range or low? My knees are still weak.

Marvelous.
And you were worried about the usefulness of a tractor a few months back....;)
