Close friend of mine who while a Quaker is very involved in religious studies of all kinds,
often ends his emails with a Biblical quote. Most have to do with tolerance and involve current issues.

I never had long hair and in fact got ridiculed at times at college during the 60's.
Not much Free Love came my way either... and no brain damage due to refusal to
try any mind expanders. I told the story here about how one of my college professors OD'd one weekend on a bad
tab of acid, had strychnine in it, and wow did that reinforce my just say no feeling.
Though certain soft stuff was not off limits.
The smell of hashish is something I haven't smelled in more than 50 years.
maybe if it becomes legal, just not worth it to have gay Bubba as a cellmate.

Good morning! A norther just blew in but still 69˚ heading to 80˚ today, but tonight it drops to 44˚.

Good morning, wind is still howling, though at least much of the snow has gone. Always seems like magic when it disappears (sublimates) without ever turning to water.

I spent a while in the workshop yesterday sharpening teeth and grinding back the rakers on a few saw chains, but other than that it wasn't my most productive day. With it being Sunday, I didn't feel too bad at not doing much. Not sure how to justify another lazy day today but I'm going to give it a try. Apart from feeding and watering livestock my only accomplishment for the day is likely to be reading that review on robot hoovers. If neato can't do the whole house RNG, how about one robot per room ?

That is true! We've typically had fewer sheep than goats-- shearing being one of the reasons. But when we slaughtered the last sheep we had in 2015, then cooked it, my wife realized that actually we needed more sheep!
