I bought Baldwin oil filters (2) for my l3800 changed the oil and filter The relief valve was chattering away when the tractor was cold so I went back to Kubota filters Its fine now I just go to dealer for my its not worth the grief, They have all the filters and I get to look at new tractors when I'm there

Doesn't seem too bad to me...

Close to my kubota, oil was 10.20 I'd have to look the rest up but not bad. You should see if they a inner air filter for your tractor

Good to know... I may do the same, I had just heard that Wix filters are generally high quality... not saying that Kioti's/Daedong/Donaldson's/whoever's aren't, I just don't see paying extra for the same or better quality filter.

I'm going to cut the baldwin filter open when i change the oil on the new machine in a couple of weeks to see what's different inside from the kubota filter
Well, I asked the dealer if it had an inner filter, but he said he would have to look it up and I needed to get off the phone and couldn't wait... I did tell him I had pulled the outer and didn't see any other filter... where is the inner one located?

I use the Donaldson phone number and call them up.
in my case the part number of the Donaldson filter itself is still new so I recorded it.
If you have that number it will help, or call them up. They have been pretty helpful thus far for me.

Its smaller goes in the filter housing first then the outer filter, Mine did not come with one new I added it later you might not be able to do it on your tractor

Depends on the year model. My CK4010 (2016) did not have an inner filter but did notice the 2017/18s do.
Dealer should help clear that one up.
