Should I buy 45 or 35 H.P.?

The NX is about 10 inches wider, longer and about 1,600 lbs. heavier.
So your terrain, planned use, possible restricttion due to trees, home etc. point to consider.
The NX has heavier 3ph and FEL lift capacity. Traded my CK 4010 for the NX45 and have no regerts.

The larger wheels allowed me to mow yesterday (all in 2wd) without having to stop. With the CK in most all deep pot holes the front wheels (in 4wd) rocked its way out. Many time had to stop because the machine rocked so much. This slowed mowing considerably.

At the end of the day I was pretty tired and beat up. However this is due to our pasture condition, yours will vary , so this is just my personal feedback hope it helps add depth to your own consideration.

So price and terrain are my two points for your consideration.

You are comparing 2 different sized machines, not just the HP??? The NX will by far out work the CK in general work. (none space restricted areas)

I was just called by one of the dealers I am pricing with. He just offered me a new 2017 Nx5510 for the same price as a 2018 NX4510. He has the 55 on the lot and has to order the 45. That changes things. I do believe I have ruled out the CK3510 based on some of the comments.

I think the 55 is more than I really need, but can稚 think of any cons to having more HP. Fuel burn maybe??

Go for it! Similarly designed Diesel engines generally burn more fuel based on load not on displacement - very different from a gas engine in this respect. There are other factors too, but I don't want to over-complicate it for you. I think you will find that the two tractors, being the same in weight, when tooled up the same way will use almost exactly the same amount of fuel.

If it is the same frame size and not a bunch more money, go with the larger HP. Your wallet should help you decide on this. Only you can decide if the extra $$$$ is worth it for 10 more HP.
You also need to look at what you are doing with the tractor. The extra 10 HP is only good if you are doing PTO chores, otherwise most CUT's run out of traction way before HP.

No such thing! There is no upper tolerance limit for hp. What ever you have, you always wish you had more.

One time I thought I had too large of a tractor. I traded it last week for a larger one and it was less than two years old
