Ron, put the chain on the smallest ( physical size) gear front and back. I usually take chain off the front gear for more slack. Remove skewer completely. After removing wheel axle from frame dropouts, remove chain from rear gear, and continue to separate wheel from frame. I have to take the wheel straight back, keeping axle between frame and jockey guide wheel (shifter). Install is reverse the order.

Belated Happy Birthday to Sophie :drink:

Ed prayer for your mom and others.

Cool seeing the progression of TBN. Thanks for sharing. I saw you had a post listed on the 2007 representative page.

Looks like BEF might win the 5Mill post.

39 tonight. Rainy pattern for the next week or so.

Serviced Kubota 1 year ago today it had 440 hours on it. Checked it tonight when I shut it down 813.1 hours. Kubota recommends a service every year or 400 hours. It’ll probably see more of both before I get to it.

Chicken coops are pulverized and ready to start decrusting. But that’ll have to wait till after I get youngest back from the ENT doctor tomorrow. Was at pediatrician today for a regular checkup and the boy has an ear infection and pediatrician thinks his tube has already fallen out.

Randy you’ll only need about 5 acres and 1.4 million to build your self 4 new state of the art barns. there’s reasons I’m not expanding.

I can't keep up here now. Went to Michalovce yesterday and arrived at my friend who wrecks cars right as he was about to go somewhere-- perfect timing. He showed me to the nearest car, handed me a socket wrench, and a few minutes later I had the lap-belt. I felt altogether quite efficient while my wife was getting her stuff. Also got replacement glass for the stove door in my office, then wandered the always expanding Merkury Market-- like a combination of Home Depot, a furniture store, and household goods store. Bought grass seed and some raspberries, black mulberries and one russian olive for planting.

The ducks spent the winter "fertilizing" the area that will be again the children's playground. It is going to get lightly rotovated and then with the 4-in-1 bucket levelled, finally the grass seed.

To Ed: I suppose your mother is on oxygen already? I ask because my grandmother last year got progressively more and more confused until after 6 months she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and put on oxygen. Though also she had a UTI, and the side effect of some of the stronger antibiotics can also lead to confusion. When she got the oxygen, there was a great deal of improvement.

27 going to 53. Most of snow is melted.

Had good fortune tracking deer and foxes in snow yesterday, then took wife to lunch, then to doctor, and then stopped in to see son.

Happy Birthday to buckeyefarmer's dad!

Andrew, good move on getting seat belt.

33 going up to 55 today, sunny day with rain coming in tonight.
Forecast keeps hopping around, next Monday is 31, then it's 33, then it's 32, now it's back up to 33 for a low.
Convinced me...I'm planting that first tray of corn today. Will wait for rest of planting until next week.

Had a good thread here on corn planting, got some good advice on rows. I wasn't very sensible buying all these varieties of corn the way they cross pollinate but it will be a good science experiment to see how they come out.

Dumped some old triple 10 I found left by prior owner in the garden shed on the first two rows of potatoes coming up. Hope that stuff doesn't go bad over time. Corn and potatoes will get lots of fertilizer.

After cleaning ladies leave this morning, which means my first job is to pick this place up, I'm putting on the trailer and headed downtown to pick up 20 bales of wheat straw. It's all can get here, weed seeds and all. But it sure beats hoeing...even in this soft sandy soil.

Every day is an opportunity for kindness.
