32 this morning high of 38 snow starts after lunch and wngsprd I think the bullseye will miss me but it's going to be close. Thomas gets off the hook this time but something big is lurking for him by mid April

Maybe today will be oil change day in tractor and need to start on side yard clean up. Yard is getting greener by the day. Forsythia bloomed and gone not much of a show. Damaged ceiling fixed that was damaged by heat pump over flow last year and master bedroom repainted. Garage gets painted soon as it appears it has never been painted

Prayer for all of those in need Ed and his mom Riptides and his family Eddie Walker and his wife David and Ann Ron and his wife

Ed, glad Mom is feeling better, at this point in life they are often exhausted and God’s will is fine with them. You all need a long rest. Peace be with you my friend.

Buckeye, congrats on the post.
Your dad and mine landed on the same beach that day, not too many details from dad about it. What men they were!

I was fitting exhaust tips on the Monte Carlo when Ellen drove up, told me to put away the toy and get dressed, she was taking me out! I said yes ma’am. Had a nice dinner, a little TV time and slept in until 7, no idea last time that happened.

Prayers for you guys, best crew I know!
Ed, special prayers for you guys.

Genetics are important, I Have plenty of issues but I can eat anything and have the cholesterol stay way low.

My brother is the same way but all the sudden out of nowhere he has blood pressure problems like Ron. ???

I'm curious Randy are your other issues related to diet? Eight of the 10 most common causes of death can be related to diet.

A little colder this morning 17*, yesterday it was 32*. Going to be sunny this morning then getting cloudy this afternoon. With increasing winds later in the day with the high in the 50*.

The neighbor wanted to look for a new side by side yesterday. We ended up in SLC at a Kawasaki dealer he had already looked at the Yamaha and Polaris.
He had a list of add on, like a soft cab and tracks and few more little ones. The price quote he got was better then he was thinking. I kept telling him what I thought he would like to have added to it. After a few of my ideas I told him is was easy for me to spend his money. He didn't go for any of my ideas.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
CWB.

Randy the Greenland Block looks to have a lot of staying power but after next weeks warm up looks to turn cold again (by Aprils standards) lasting at least truu mid April maybe the whole month

You need to bring that Monte Carlo down to my neck of the woods sometime. I'd love to see it and as Drew knows I love cars kinda like him and his tractors

Actually stopped on my own. Nope doctor doesn稚 know. As long as numbers look good then he won稚 care. I don稚 know my numbers. If he does care then we will discuss a medicine change. I stopped actually because of family history.

I think the Doctors are way to quick to give statins to everyone. They should first try modifications in diet like staying away from the high cholesterol bombs like liver and shrimp and cut down on portions of meat and reduce fat intake while increasing their vegetable intake. They assume people cannot change their diet and would rather have a pill with bad side effects.

The drug companies bank on that assumption to the tune of $37 billion annually.

Don sometimes I think it's just easier for them to prescribe pills than spend the time to go over your options

I'm advanced because of my heart disease, my options are hard. For the people who have not had a heart incident and come clean on the calcium heart test there are beginner's options like I explained above. They are easy just serious portion control and some meals without added cholesterol.

What I'm doing very few can do. That's why, when I checked out the cardiac rehab, that I recovered in, this week they are full 32 patients a day, and they have a 40 patient waiting list. Cardiac rehab last for 3 months, 36 sessions.

Look up the statistic on how effective the statins are are you might find yourself asking That's all?

The studies on statins are usually divided into those with known heart disease and those with a high probability - family history, etc.

I agee with you 100% -that taking a pill is easier - but that's what got me from the beginners class to the advance class. They did not work!!!

In the "talk" with my cardiologist this week he explained that the statin studies do not even include those on a strict plant based diet. He said that there are two types of vegans and is convinced I'm not the junk vegan and says he is not worried about me as long as my LDL stays below 100.

There are a few studies that show a plant based diet lowers cholesterol faster than statins.

I put a laptop stand on my elliptical. Been exercising for 53 minutes while doing research and TBN. Time flies by. Bet Mostly can't bike and TBN. Well I hope not anyway.
