Good morning to all! Should be about 68 for the high today, wind at a light breeze. Not sure if it is supposed to get stronger this afternoon.

Going to try and pick up some stuff that got blown around yesterday. Knee isn't too bad this morning, know it's there with just a little ache, but I'm sure once I start walking around, it'll start yelling. Not going to push it.

Ed- glad they have been able to at least pinpoint a source of mom's problem. I have heard of the antibiotic treatment for ulcers and it has a pretty good success ratio. The pneumonia is hard to kick especially in the elderly. My prayers are out to you and your mom.

BEF- congrats on the grand prize!

For all those out there needing them, prayers are sent. Be safe and enjoy your day.

65 degrees this morning, clean and sunny, going for a high of 85. Then a fair chance or rain every day for the next week. My 88 year old next door neighbor went in the hospital night before last with some chest pains and a big spike in his blood pressure. He hopes he might come home today. And a couple of days ago, we learned that our son-in-law's 86 year old mother just went on hospice care up in Ohio. We'll be praying for both of them.

Buppies.

They have one of the North Stars on the show room floor here. They are nice, he said said that they are out of his price range. The one here, they are asking 27,000 for and 5,000 more for the tracks. The Kawasaki he was looking at with the add on was priced at 20,000. And 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. I couldn't talk him in to the Polaris.

CWB.

Most prices I see are in the $21 to $24 range that one signs high to me

I don't understand about buying an expensive utility vehicle. Does it do anything besides transport people and a few tools or it it for those without a pickup or tractor and also takes on those duties? I know my cheap new golf cart can pull a trailer of fire wood or gravel.

My brother is the same way but all the sudden out of nowhere he has blood pressure problems like Ron. ???

I'm curious Randy are your other issues related to diet? Eight of the 10 most common causes of death can be related to diet.
I have one of the musical murmurs, cannot recall the name, sounds like a horn note, but basically harmless, slightly deformed valve, had it all my life, might develop further if something doesn’t kill me first.
I have type 2 diabetes with A1c in the 6 range, controlled without meds for 18 years, and I come from a long line of HBP. Mine is now 110-120x60, has been higher before the weight loss. And I am Hyponatremic.
That and those pesky genetics, I have type 2 diabetes, controlled without meds for 18 years, A1c good, not perfect. And mild HBP, that is now 110-120 x 60. Has been higher before the weight loss.

Randy the Greenland Block looks to have a lot of staying power but after next weeks warm up looks to turn cold again (by Aprils standards) lasting at least truu mid April maybe the whole month

You need to bring that Monte Carlo down to my neck of the woods sometime. I'd love to see it and as Drew knows I love cars kinda like him and his tractors
I致e heard about your cars through the grapevine, love to see them as well. The Chevy is just a really clean grandma grocery getter with rally wheels and dual exhausts. But my buddy that did all the LT1 and LSx swaps has a nice LS 6.0 sitting in the corner.:D

Like the new avatar!

Ellen came by, she was a mess, she’d just told her late husbands twin brother about us. He handled it fine, but she, not so much. I think she is ok now though.
That has been one of the hard things, at a restaurant last week, the waitress that served Lynn and I for years was very cold to me, I realized what it was and called her aside to tell her about Lynn. Well, she couldn’t have been nicer after that. It is tough though, having to explain away the glances and such sometimes.
