Modification to bush hog...

Brush hog or bush hog, technically interchangeable but not really mowing bushes but rather brush. So mow the brush and trim the"bush". All I have to say about that.

Use the term brush hog in my area and nobody would know what you are talking about. A Coke can be any almost any soft drink and Bushog can be any rotary brush cutter.

I own two bush hogs. One is a shredder and one is a finish mower. I have never called either a brush hog.

I think we should call them "slashers." Sounds much more violent and I like that! Also I want to start spelling tires properly with a "y" and eliminate the letter "z" and replace it with an "s." You realise that I'm being sarcastic.

It seems that when one is being sarcastic or facetious, it is necessary to state your intention, lest it be misinterpreted and misunderstood by folks lacking a sense of humor.

In some pockets of the country words such as "brush" are only spoken at one's own peril and in extreme cases, the mere utterance may illicit the death penalty, or some other irrational response. Mea Culpa despite the encyclopedia definition equating bush and brush cutters.

In my tiny little corner of the planet, a "coke" may only be interchanged w/ a Pepsi, and at that, still requires a verbal permission.

We argue the sublime because topics of substance require actual thought and factual content, or is that also in dispute?

Sublime in this context = high moral authority, lest we start a new word assault tirade.

True. But good communication facilitates good information transfer. It's the same reason we have English classes (or whatever your countries native language is). If everybody is using the same agreed upon communication standard, the is no, or at least a lot less of a chance at miscommunication.
