And I wonder how long it will take Junior to hack the parental controls and not have to listen to Christian music exclusively...

which I happen to enjoy at times but for
sure not force fed. Rap? not going to happen. Check. Jazz? yeah, let the kid listen to Dizzy Gillespie, and so on. Apparently the no no word for Country is Explicit, which seems to be
a catchall for music that has gotten the hook for some reason, most of which is sex, drugs or violence I assume.
Interesting music choices for parents to make. What would you not want your child to listen to? And realistically, hard to prevent today if they find another friend without
the same restrictions, sharing a laptop on the bus ride home.

Just the wife and I over the weekend. Nice to have some quiet time, went to a movie Saturday night, first time in a few years.. Had a great service Sunday at church, always a special time of year.

Regarding the horseradish, when my wife and I first got married, she traveled with me.. We went to lunch at a tavern that served great ham sandwiches. I forgot the mustard has horseradish in it and she does not care for it one bit... we had a good laugh over it (and I got most of her sandwich)..

RNG- you got me on the van being done.. I was thinking it would be a mess with a large bill. then saw the april fools.. LOL.

I went to Ellen’s for breakfast and stayed until noon, I am not getting much done like this. She works tomorrow and I’d better too!

County returned my $862 they over billed on my taxes. Been so long it’s like extra money now.

Finished up my water system maintenance by doing the intake filters. Now someone is likely thinking, that’s back asswards, should have done the intake before the final filters. Perhaps so, but the final filters are fed after the pump, water drawn from the 16k gallons storage. Seriously doubt the .01 inches rain since doing those contributed much.

So my system is 4 basic components:
A slotted plaster cylinder filter (sold primarily as a waste filter)
HD nylon 5gal paint filter
Panty hose leg (not fussy as to brand, color, or special features, prefer cheap)
4in PVC housing

Nylon filter over the cylinder, then the fine panty hose.
Water enters from top, filter to outside

Housing is 4inch PVC inline with flow from roof, after 1st flush

Buttoned up and ready to go

If I don’t have extra nylon filters on hand, they do clean up well for a second use rather than make a special trip to HD.

Panty hose is also reusable in emergency but much more intensive to clean, so I always have on hand.

I’d post a pic of how effective, but if anyone has ever used PH as filter, you can imagine how unappealing that pic would be.
