Good morning!!!!

Good morning to all! Got windy last night, tossing the wind chimes about real good. Calmed down this morning. The weather guessers still say a 50/50 chance of showers or thunderstorms....we'll see. I sure hope this drought ends soon. Temps should be right about 60 today.

Knee is slowly getting better, mornings it's really stiff and a bit of pain until I get moving. Throughout the day not too bad (except after PT), but by the end of the day, starts to get uncomfortable again. It's mending, so that's ok.

Used to love going to the Gettysburg area, lived in Lancaster Co. PA for a couple of years so wasn't too far. Sure do miss the greenery and the 'old time feel' of the area.

Don, do you have an approx size of the room the bead board came out of? The area I would need to cover is about 16' x 16'. Don't blame you for not wanting to count the boards in the building.....wifey said---"would we have to go in that creepy place to get it?" I told her "yea, and?" the rusty metal roof is pretty cool too, lots of uses for 'weathered panels', just a job to get them. What general area of central TX are you located?

Drew, sure hope all the plants made it through the frost OK, hopefully it wasn't too long in the frost period. Glad it worked out w/ the plumbers.

Have to run some errands today, maybe spend a little time in the shop later, if not, that's ok.

Everyone have a great day and be safe. Prayers sent out for those needing them.

Clear and mostly sunny 30F start to the morning with a coating of snow covering everything. It looks like the NE will experience a decent run of dry weather starting this weekend until mid-week next week with warming temperatures.

LS- Your knee is definitely healing. Your reported pattern of pain/stiffness is similar to what I experienced with my ACL repair.

Drew- I hope that your plants survive the frost. Around here no one really gardens until Memorial Day unless they have cold frames or greenhouses.

My chives that sprouted through the snow are looking a little "frost nipped."

I have more crowned molars than non-crowned. A couple of my crowns are chipped and one is cracked w/o any pain nor sensitivity yet. When that crown starts complaining I'll get it replaced. I wonder just how many dentists' children the I have put through private schools, colleges, and graduate schools?

I am now sitting in a hospital waiting room. Waiting for my bud to recover from his endoscopy and drive him home.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers for all.

I hope that everyone has a decent day today and a decent weekend.

LS, keep working that knee. Make sure you PT it to the extents your doctor recommends. Hope it gets better fast!

Hard to believe it is still snowing up north.

Dentistry is expensive, but we have a great dentist here in town that is reasonable.

Delivery of moving POD was uneventful yesterday, load shifted and it took a bit of work to get door open, but all good.

Mostly settled on shed design so we can start on that this weekend.

Daughter and soninlaw made offer on some land, exciting for them, should hear tonight if it was accepted (or extended). It is less than an hour from our house so not bad. They are thinking they might build (themselves) a shop/house combo. It is becoming more popular around here.

Freedom, the smile at the very end of your video says many things without a single word :-
aren't FELs great - phew, nothing went wrong - 4 in 1 buckets are really neat - I have a wonderful wife.
Did I miss anything ? :)

Pretty much. Also I was glad to have finally pulled the stump out. Didn't get that on video, but the the wheels were digging some holes in pretty good before it came out, and two of the roots had been cut. I wasn't sure the stump was going to go!

sitting in kitchen watching clock to bring in tomatoes after just one hour outside.
Like Hunt For Red October....One ping only Vasilly....;)
Tomorrow two hours. Etc. Not doing this again but also not going to give up on 200 tomato plants.
Trying to improve on 100% mortality. Should be easy...

Brunswick cabbage still not doing anything, I keep looking inside to see if something round is growing in there.
Sweet potatoes planted, and entire garden hoed. Plus rest of melons planted. Did not get sunflowers planted, going to do that this weekend.
Sure should have been more careful with turnip seeds, tiny little balls and wow did they germinate. Thinking about trying to start another row six inches away with some of the thinned plants, which far outnumber the keepers. I think this was 1/4 of an ounce, gazillions of seeds in there.
Purple Top White Globe.
Blackberries are flowering and blueberries are making berries.
and that unusual green berry is a ???

Carolina pineberry
local variant of strawberry, not as sweet but cool looking

Got back home a little after 2, tired but no worse for wear. Got Ellenç—´ dadç—´ birthday tonight, he is 82, looks about 67-70. Took a few pics. Two of my grandsons and their other grand Mom. And some shots of the Shenandoah.
