Roy we will look into it probably a late fall thing but sounds interesting. Both of our family's were involved in civil war history both in battles in that area. We have been to numerous battlefields in Virginia but none out of state.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 26° with mostly clear skies. Heading to 58° with cloudy skies. Mower is ready for the lawn to start growing. That may happen soon. Got work on garden pond started. May work on that a little more today. No other plans.

hopefully last cold morning, thermometer says 35 but no frost on truck top.
Headed to a plant sale this morning put on by local Master Gardener club and County ag extension.
I hope to meet the county agent and sweet talk him into coming to my farm to give me advice. Their office is only about 20 minutes away, never been there.

Otherwise going to plant sunflowers today and maybe disc my neighbor's fields to keep the weeds down.

I had never been to either of them either, Vern to South Mills, Pea Ridge, Prairie Grove, Chickamauga and a several others, but not these. Looking out off of Little Round Top you can imagine the scene with the noise, smoke, yelling and blood. What the heck did we do to each other?!

29 degrees! Wow, glad I didn’t plant anything. Finally going to warm up some but still below normal.
