Bcs 26" or 32" brush mower

We have a BCS 749 with 59" sickle bar mower, 32" flail mower and 32" brush mower. I don't find the 32" brush mower to be excessively heavy.

Ha, I find the 32" mower heavy off the tractor. On the tractor the weight distribution is great. Off. Holy heck it is hard to move, lot of steel.

Why do you prefer the 26"?

I have run both the 26" and 32" Del Morino / BCS brush mower options, and prefer the larger model for all but the steepest of ground. And on that steep ground, you will want your axle wider than 26", which will leave brush to tangle with your wheels.

My solution even on the 30-degree slopes was to mow going straight down hill only. Just put it in 1st up at the top where it's still flat, and then hold-on the rest of the way...
