Kubota engine oil

I do not use any synthetic oil. Crazy to pay for that stuff when so much good regular oil is available. I never heard of a Kubota crashing becuz of an oil failure....never heard of any excess wear becuz of oil type. I got too many pressing things needing $$$$ to increase my tractor operating costs for no discernible gain.

Deere strongly recommends synthetic oil and you can really extend oil change intervals with it. Some big tractors get used a lot per season and I think the OCI with their synthetic is 500 hours.

To each his own, many people believe in the benefits of a synthetic lubricates.
Personally I have used them for many years.

Rotella T4 15W-40 because it's very good oil and you can find it at truck stops, dept. stores, auto parts stores, farm supplies, etc.

Rotella T6 in diesels, Mobil 1 in gassers.

I use Rotella T6.

It is the one we keep for oil changes that we do at the house since it seems to work well in the Ford and Chevy gas big blocks as well.

There痴 more to drain intervals than hours of use. The average CUT will benefit more from annual conventional engine oil changes than running synthetic oil for several years between changes. Synthetic oil doesn稚 pencil out with many CUT owners hours of use.

Yes but there is also the advantages of people that live in an area where there is a wide range of temp, I can operate at si negative temps and triple digits in a year, I've noticed much better cold starts from the t6 over a conventional 10w30.

Also the synthetic resist the acidic issues from from incomplete heat cycles better, which is good due to the short run times common with small CUT's.

Price difference for the oil change on my tractor between t4 and t6? About $5.
