PT-425 (Former Kubota L3130 HST)
This has been a little delayed, you know life getting in the way sometimes. The 425 has been here for just about a month. I will try to post a pic or two. The process of ordering/paying and shipping was pretty much a breeze. Once we (the driver and I) realized that the reason she would not start was that the fuel tank was too low the rest was easy.

Before anyone asks: Kohler engine, 5 (w/teeth) and 10 cube buckets, blade with steel edge and wheels, pallet forks, mini hoe w/ thumb and utility grapple. Bar tires. Spare wheel/tire.

Have not had much time to use it but when I have it performed mostly as expected and sometimes better. Gradually acclimating to the steering (especially in reverse) characteristics. Really like the quick attach...does anybody not like it?

Have a possible issue but will post a separate thread.

Thanks to all TBNers who answered all my questions. Special thanks to Ernie in Bolivar for allowing me to test drive his 422 and gain from his experience.

I put an air hose pass-through port in the side of my garage with the toothed rock bucket. ;)

Oh yeah...

When I first had my Kubota I was not used to the length of it. Had just enough confidence to really wheel it around. Was looking over my shoulder going in reverse, swung the front end around and put a nice letter slot in the steel garage trim with the bucket cutting edge...cutting edge indeed! 😖

I almost ran over my wife when I got my 422, trying to back it off the truck and not used to going in reverse. Congrats

Well I have the 10 cu bucket, forks and built my own grapple and others but there are only 2 things I wish I had but too expensive. I wish I had the stump grinder and I want to fabricate and build my own mini hoe. I just need info on how they fabricate the end where the bucket attaches. How long is the square pipe and is it 4 or 5 inch sq or other size. How long is the hydraulic cylinder needed for it and so forth. I have the materials or can aquire them.

I will try and get you those measurements and a close up pic too if I can CC.

I had considered the stump grinder as well but with my needs and some concerns over the PT unit, I will just rent a stand alone when I need it.
