riptides;
Groundhogs like to soak up the midday sun, maybe you need a .22. They go back to the burrow at night, so you need to bomb them in the late evening, just at dusk or a little later.
A .22 is the more humane way to eradicate them and that way you also get the meat for GH stew.

As much as we bicker and call each other names, I truly hope for a speedy and full recovery.
Thanks Kyle.

I hope you get more energy back, but I've heard the recovery is a biggie and takes time.
Yeah ... it will be interesting to see how it goes.

Side of face and neck will probably be numb for 4 - 6 months. Right now feels like I was swatted upside the head with a 2 x 4 ....

I can't lift anything heavier than 10 lbs for 2 weeks ... which kind of puts a damper on things.

I can drive after 5 days though ... just in time to go to the doctors by myself.

If I get any energy back it will likely be from ceasing smoking. If I can stay off those there's a good chance my legs - which have arterial blockages as well - will improve, at least to some degree.

I'd be interested to hear how your doing on a day to day basis.
I'll try to report on how I'm doing regularly.

Right now I haven't had a cig in over 72 hours ... my toes and fingers which were always cold due to lack of circulation feel flushed and warm. Amazing that it changes so quickly.

Chewing, swallowing food, and coughing is pretty painful ... even with OxyContin ...

Probably gonna be doing a good bit of sleeping for the next week or so.

My daughter pulled up about 10 of the 15 potato plants she planted. We have never had any luck prior to this. In the past we got beautiful green plants, but no decent potatoes....so she's pretty proud of herself. We did NOT buy planting seed stock, we had some new potatoes that just started "eyeing" and budding out and we just planted all 15 of them whole. No prep other than they had greened up and started budding.
Sounds like she's got the green thumb ...

It was 34* this morning, it rained most of yesterday and was on the cool side. It's cloudy this morning with a good chance of showers all day, the high will be in 40's.

We made a trip to town yesterday with the neighbors to do some shopping. We had a nice dinner and good company.

Just plan on getting little project done today.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

CWB.

So RS are you ready to join Ed and me.
If you mean being a non-smoker, I'd say I'm pretty much there ... if I can make it another 3 - 4 days, I'll probably be over the worst of it.

If you mean going vegan, no, not quite ...

Will most likely at least hold off on any more big life change decisions like that until I'm off the narcotics ...

I promise I will not misspell Billie's name again....:D

back from the Garden Club plant sale, what a mob scene, I think they will sell out, had to leave after I just became soaked in sweat and a little unpresentable after walking plants to the curb for little old ladies, and any one who needed a hand.

Now, finally, off to take the Super A out to the cornfield and see if I can help vs wreck it.
