I used to think I could manage a phone and drive until I almost killed myself and those in another vehicle. The two do not mix, I do not care who you are. PUT THE DANG THING AWAY when you drive. I do now.

Looks like he took the pics safely and no accidents involved so I guess he was responsible and capable. I see nothing wrong.

My father(who was a driving instructor, among other things) always had a saying that it usually takes two mistakes to cause an accident. You can do something stupid in isolation and you'll usually be fine, it when the unexpected happens while you're not paying attention that gets you into trouble.

That applies to most of life's mishaps, not just driving. It could be a topic for an entirely new thread.

That was the rule I used as a teenager to stay out of trouble. Only break one law at a time.
