Just tried something new in the air frier I thought I would never try. Air fried tofu. Before you fall over laughing, I can tell you the extra firm tofu marinated in soy sauce and Italian seasonings when air fried has a crunchy outside and a texture on the inside that resembles scrambled eggs. The flavor is absolutely delicious.

Mom just called she found her car keys that she had lost 3 weeks ago outside in the yard. I think she just gave herself the best mother's day gift - it was really bugging her especially the possibility of having to pay $300 for a new key.

My wife doesn’t like the zero turn, so I use that, but she does do some mowing with the craftsman mower. I’ve abused my craftsman mowers terribly, I am always impressed at how well the survived.

Has the volcano affected you guys?

Not close enough for much effect.

Probably the most is all the contacts checking on us. Some we haven’t heard from in years

Looks like it will be dry here today after all. That should please my wife as she can get on with mowing the lawn now I've replaced the starter relay in the Grillo. I'll drill out the rivets in the old one when I've a few spare minutes and she what happened inside.

The weeds in the field will have to wait another day though, Crassula helmsii has been forming dense floating mats in the top pond. It's time for me to see how water tight my chest waders are while I spend a few hours arm wrestling with the invader before it takes over again.

Whipper, take care with those snakes.

went to bed early, got up early, hope today finally will be an afternoon nap day. 93 forecast, I can't work outside in that for long.
First thing is to wash my potatoes picked yesterday and box them up for the food bank.
Then I have a little hoeing to do when the sun comes up, while it's still relatively cool and then I escape to the shade down by the barn to
do some oil changes and general cleanup. Once lunch time comes, then time to stay inside.

I'm amazed Whipper survives without getting bit/poisoned by those snakes. Scary stuff, you're right Don, dangerous...

A crunchy tofu popper. I'd try those. All about the seasoning and taste; consistency is hard to get around.
Reminds me of okra, you really need to "do something" with it.

Good morning all, Tell your wives happy mother day. 65 heading to 84 with a 40% chance of T-storms. Will likely take it easy today. Spend time with wife.

RS, prayer sent your way. Glad you are back.

Buppies, Prayers sent your way too.

Don, The dogs on the farm would come in with their heads all swollen up and would not eat much for a few days and then be fine but no Coral snakes.

Have a great Mothers Day. Prayers sent for those in need. Ed

28 and going to a high of 66. Wind SE 3 mph. Sunny.

I got the riding mower all sorted after winter. I park them full of fuel (High test). It only had 2.5 hours on it when I parked it. Pounded the Fluid Film to the underside of the deck. She fired right up and 1.5 hours later I had all the grass cut and burned a full tank of fuel. I changed out the oil and put in Quaker State 10w30 synthetic blend. I expect this mower to last me the rest of my life.
I also got two more raised beds decommissioned and the top soil redistributed. I'll do some raking today. I have a set of chains that are way too big for the Kioti drive wheels and I am trying to give them to my neighbour for his 2wd Massey.
I got a new post put in to mark the location of the drilled well. It is about 20' off the driveway and was protected by one of the beds. The well head regularly gets buried in snow in winter and I sure don't want to hit it when I am plowing.

Have a safe and happy Mothers day all
