LoL. The mirrors would be wore out if I folded em every time I hooked or unhooked a trailor. Several hookups a day are normal. Roughly 175,000 miles on the truck and I suspect well less than 10,000 were not with a trailor. Pulling two trailors at once is not uncommon. (Often have a welding trailor tagging along) Construction work done in city limits usually and often cannot park truck and trailors at the same place and time. This particular picture taken while on the way for small parts at a box store and almost in front of it.

I really think this thread could have a dozen pictures a day added by just one person taking pictures at such a store each day. It’s amazing and a bit scary seeing whats going in and out of these places.

You’ve at least got trailer brakes right?

I saw the sheriff today, he had a pickup and flatbed 16' trailer pulled over.

There was a junk car on the trailer, but, NOTHING was tying the car down at all,,,
I am sure he was getting an earful,, and probably a ticket,,

I am sure the guy had the junk car brake engaged,,, :confused2:

Why is this wrong? I see proper chaining on the front. I can't see any on the rear, but they are likely obscured.

Other than perhaps the rear chain tie down as you mention? He should be using a weight distributing hitch for that load on that truck.

Quite possibly a towing bill, as well as a hefty fine.
From what I've seen, "scrappers" are some of the worst about tying things down. All too often, it's also hard to tell which is the junk and which is the tow vehicle.
