We took a Belarus in trade once. It was oil cooled. Really loud. Had an interesting transmission. But it ran well and I bet a guy could get a lot of work done with it. Sort of cool in a unique way.

I used to think I could manage a phone and drive until I almost killed myself and those in another vehicle. The two do not mix, I do not care who you are. PUT THE DANG THING AWAY when you drive. I do now.

OTOH, I now have dash cameras front and back with pretty wide FOV, so I can [hopefully] just pull the necessary still from the captures [if I'm allowed to pull over and mark the time frame so it doesn't get overwritten].

My father(who was a driving instructor, among other things) always had a saying that it usually takes two mistakes to cause an accident. You can do something stupid in isolation and you'll usually be fine, it when the unexpected happens while you're not paying attention that gets you into trouble.

The thing people forget is that it's not necessary for both mistakes to be YOURs- all your need is the OTHER idiot to make his own mistake.

I tell my SWMBO all the time that I'm in no fear of driving itself nor of the weather, just of the morons and maniacs around me on the road.

Looked more like a 1 ton dump.
