the factory valves integrate with the tractor. You can use aftermarket valves but you'll need to make your own mount. They may not fit in the factory location so you may need to put them on the fender. On my Branson the factory valves are out behind the seat on the back of the transmission, and there's a linkage to the levers next to the seat. You can't get that linkage from the aftermarket.
