You know who else doesn't drive with insurance? Government employees.

Last time I was in an accident an attorney for the state of WA rear ended me at a yield. We were both confused when she found out there wasn't an insurance card in the car. Turns out there's a whole separate process where the state handles it independently. In the end the damage was so minor that I didn't want to hassle with having the car in the shop so never saw what the whole process was like.

Yep - US Govt vehicles are self insured. General Service Administration (GSA) handles the accident and repairs basically like an insurance company, it is not like the vehicles or drivers are not covered.

It never ceases to amaze me, the number of people without drivers licenses or insurance. Why do the good guys bother? Where has the conscience gone? What happened to truth and morality? People flat out lie with impunity. Very disturbing and sad.

Agreed. Sort of... well not sort of... pisses me off that too many folks that since they have little to nothing to lose, think they don't need insurance. This is very disrespectful and selfish in that they don't appreciate the well being of others and someone else should be responsible because they have more 'means'. Having rights/privileges/rules in operating vehicles, etc. should not depend on your financial status. Sorry for the rant but fair is fair... isn't it?

Is that an F150? :laughing: I think the empty trailer might come close to exceeding it's towing capacity!

It’s a SRW F-350. I really need to sell it and get a F-450 with some more power under the hood. The trailer 5-6k empty so about half what the newest F-150 is rated for. Don’t think I would need a trailer that heavy if I only had a F-150 though.

They’re actually built in Georgia or at least they have a factor there. In the process of taking that load back to the lumber yard I bought an old pressure washer for $100.

It's good to see a trailer being used. They aren't of much use when just sitting in the yard.

That would have gotten you an improperly or unsecured load ticket here. Anything that is not up against a bulkhead or other load restraint must have two straps, at least here in WA. Learned that one from experience.
