Flail Mower Cutting lawn with flail mower.

Everyone around here mows hay with disc mowers. I've never owned one. At a glance I think they might be high maintenance as well?

Just wait until the disc mower has broken blades and the operator sees them sailing away for parts known and unknown and they get a visit from the local smokeys because the blade or blades injured or killed someone and or caused property damage.

I heard there was one make with plastic gears and if you jam up the end, you will take out the whole line of gears! Now, that's something I would be interested in . . . NOT!

I like your humor but a disc mower would cut your grass but you wouldn稚 be happy with it unless you bailed it hay mowers such as sickle bar and disc are to cut hay not to mulch it up. You also would not want to cut hay with a flail mower as there you would not be able to bale it
