Not much difference IMO between the commercial ZTR's..Depends what part of America..around here you see lots of Badboys and John Deere. These are not the badboy you see at TSC. Not sure if I would put Kubota in that group one
Hard to beat Kubota..I also like Ferris ZTR,s..Scag,Exmark also make great ZTR,s..Thinking about what the next step is for my landscaping company. Not sure I want to get into mowing but certainly something I need to entertain. Big farm show coming up in 60 days so I can see all brands there. Ferris is made here so they seem to be very popular. What should I look at for a small commercial operation. I will not be mowing 60 lawns a week or anything like that. Price is always a concern. I will be looking at new so older models will not be in my sights. What width do you guys like best for mowing homeowners? What speed do you mow. Price for a good mower? Thanks guys.
Fail to plan is a plan to fail, get work first, buy used to start, make money(70% for you,30% for equipment)I do not know if I would have any work for it. I would be purchasing it before bidding any lawns. I could only be doing 5 lawns. Who knows. I do not want junk but could upgrade at a later date. Kind of a middle of the road. I think 7500 would be feasible but no more. I do not see me buying diesel with no work.

Take test ride before you buy. I went looking for a zt 2 years ago with every intention of getting a scag.
When I got to the dealer & looked at them he also had Toro. He let me try both & I left with the Toro my ride.
The Toro was way more mower & rode 10x better than a scag at the same price.
There's also a big difference in a Kawasaki FX & FS motors.
