Any pictures of your tractor.  I built a subrame and welded a plate to it, cut out to except the profile of the tractor/wheels etc.   I back over the plate on the ground, lift up the arse end of the plate and shove it  into a c-channel on the back end of the tractor................then walk around to the back of the front wheel, lift up the front of the plate and put a pin in.  Walk around to the other side of the tractor to put in another pin.    Where the plate goes under the front end, I made a hinge there.  so I fold the very end of the skid plate up to the front bumper where I have two plates bolted to either side of the bumper permently.   The two plates are drilled to except a few bolts, mating together.   5 minutes to remove or install. 1/4inch so it doesn't deform while running over it.   Basically its hanging there if you would think of it.
