This is the second time this happened to me. I was out in the woods off our dirt road and I notice the tire is flat and the valve stem is gone. This is time #2, the 1st time I went to the local tire shop and got it fixed. This time was bad, off in the woods with a load of wood on the skid forks. So I unloaded the wood into my truck. I drove it home because I couldn't leave it there, noticed a small dent in the rim and the tire is scuffed up in a few spots. Used the loader to lift it and jack stand under it and got it off. Nobody open now so I have to wait.
Why in the heck is there a guard on the rear rims and not the front? Can I have the rim filled so I don't have this again? Would a tube be better? All I could guess was that I hit something turning and took out the stem. I might go to the dealer for this one. If anyone has had this and knows of a good fix I would love to know what it is.
