The cutoff $ is card specific. Some are less. Just restart the pump. I like the limit.
You can also submit a tax exempt for at the time of fuel purchase for farm use ATVs.
May an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) that will be used in farming be purchased exempt from sales tax?
Heck, there's all kinds of stuff you can get for farm use and not pay taxes.... like udder wipers.

If I am going to stop to get fuel, I want it full up to the brim. And, I always try and make the liters even for ease of record entry but like the dollar amount uneven. It makes it easier to detect errors (and fraud) on your account.

The gallons per hour thing is dependent upon work load. Using the Kubota gasser and tough cut at moderate throttle opening uses very little fuel, pushing the contour on steep terrain and dense turf type tall fescue takes a lot of fuel. Running the broom at moderate RPM through powder snow takes hardly and fuel.
Buying off road fuel here has NOTHING to do with farming. Mostly excavation companies, loggers, mining, and regular folks with off road vehicles, generators, and lawn/garden equipment. The tax being avoided is the highway excise tax, not sales tax. Sales tax is still in there.
