Local Lowe's store only has a few craftsman tool boxes and enclosures at the moment. Every thing else is still Kobalt or there other brands.
Never had anything but craftsman sockets ratchets never broke anything. Decades of use. Breaker bars are meant for breaking things loose not ratchets.
My guess is Kobalt will be the lower priced entry level and Craftsman will be the "premium" tool
I don’t mean to offend, but I would not return a tool for exchange that I broke while knowingly misusing it.I want to know if or when they will exchange broke crapsman tools.
I break the tips off the screwdrivers mis using them alot.

You are more honest than I am.I don’t mean to offend, but I would not return a tool for exchange that I broke while knowingly misusing it.
Isn't that kinda what happens anyway? I think Danaher was making a lot of craftsman. I have some craftsman pro stuff that matches some Matco and sk stuff.I wonder if the Kobalt factory will just stamp there tools as craftsman now.
Also wonder if they will be made in USA.
