Glyphosate (active ingredient in Roundup but available in cheaper generics now) is probably the safest, because any excess that runs off gets complexed (chemically tied up) in the soil. Use it as long as you don't have trees in the fence line or discontinue up to and after the drip line.

I'm no scientist. I don't care about the fences, just the roads. I bought some glyphosate and some vinegar/salt/soap. I imagine the chemical does better but it will be a cheap test. what concerns me most is lasting effect on well water, etc. Nature has an amazing ability to eat up all that we do, roads, concrete, asphalt, etc. If we leave it nature will chew it up so I want to protect investments without screwing up nature of giving myself cancer in 20 years![]()
