Looking to replace some tires around here. Any online retailers that are recommended? Looking for a 26x12-12 for the baler and several 9.5L-15 for the wagons.

I purchase all my tires from a family owned business here out west. Les Schwab Tires. That would be tires for - Jeep, pickup, tractor, trailer(s), ATV. Never considered purchasing tires online. Take some pretty large cojones to spend $3200 for two tractor tires online and then take them to a local business for installation.

On the other hand, it takes some pretty large cojones for a business to price tires at a significant increase over online prices for the same tire. My local tire dealer will match any price I get online. This is after I refused to pay his exhorbant prices and asked if he would mount tires I ordered.

There you go - buy local, have them installed local.

I buy my tires from my family owned local tire dealer...

He is normally about 10% higher than a big chain, but his service is EXCELLENT and I like good service and buying local...

I have a "Tire guy" that I have been using for about 25 years.
He has always treated me great and I don't have to haggle with him.
He gives me great prices and I pay them.
I have bought tractor, PU, car, motorhome and trailer tires from him through the years.
I always shop first so I know what the market is.
Find a local guy in a smaller location that seems fair to deal with and keep coming back!
Most of them buy from the same warehouse in a location and make their money on mount and balance.

I do have a local guy that I use for the tractor (shipping on those would be outrageous), and I don't own the equipment to handle something that large and done so infrequently. However, I've had a lot of success ordering tires for my vehicles online (even Walmart sells tires online), and taking them to my local mechanic to mount and balance. Mounting a tire for the baler or a hay wagon is a rather easy task to handle on your own, no special balancing equipment required, which is what prompted my question. Just wanted to pick your brains about any online retailers that are used, I didn't anticipate everyone paying someone else to do it for them. Thanks though.

I've bought a lot of equipment and trailer tires from various sellers off ebay, priced out other different online retailers but always seemed to end up back at ebay.

Walmart also has good prices sometimes.

At the local tyre shop... everything from my 3-wheel barrow to the tractor (touch wood I haven't needed them for that, but others have). Ordering the correct tyre for the rim, mounting, balancing and old tyre disposal.

Go local and they'll stay local... otherwise, you're on your own.

Yes; for us west of the Rockies, Les Schwab is the go to outfit. They provide field service also. Been using them for 60 years exclusively except for others under warranty.
