Buying Advice First time tractor owner - soon

I requested the BH. I don't need it now, but it's 1K cheaper if bought with the tractor.

I need to get a LOT of small rocks and some sticks off the trail. Sounds line BB and rake would help me too.

For final grooming of a trail. Set the BB level and just barely touching the ground but with the teeth down a few inches and it will pop the rocks up and collect them and also do final smoothing, without collecting a lot of dirt. I just drug them over to the creek bed.

Sounds good. Got'a get one. Thanks.

I am new to tractors and this forum, but I have been reading a lot. We live on 12 acres. 8 acres wooded mountain land, 2 acres flat with scrub brush and trees, plus another 2 acres for house, yard, barn and horse pasture.

I want to maintain and expand the mountain trails, clear the scrub brush, put some French drains in the wet areas, and maintain gravel drives. I want a small tractor due to some tight spots, but subcompacts lack the ground clearance.

I have a good Kioti dealer close by. Here is his offer: CK2510 with FEL, Backhoe with 12'' bucket, 48'' Root Grapple , 48'' bush hog, quick attach, remote hydraulics, 3rd function and beet juice I the tires. His final price is $27,575 plus tax.

Do you see a glaring beginner errors in my list?

Would you add or remove anything?

Does this price seem about right for this package in 2018?

You don't say were you are located, but I have seen the CK2610 TLB advertised for $23,900 + other implements. Look around for other prices, then compare. The 2610 is definitely more tractor.

I'm in Central Pa. Where have you seen that price?

I thought of the 2610. I like the larger lift capacity and weight. i don't like the wider, longer size. I have some tight spots to fit in. Although, I'd go to 2610 if the price is the same. Don't think it will be.

I'm in NY, I just bought a ck3510se hst, from a dealer not too far from the PA border. I got it with FEL, BH, 60" brush hog, 60" box blade, and filled tires. I paid 30k. The 2510 is a smaller machine, without all of the options that the SE includes. Your price sounds quite high to me. Definitely shop around some more.

I'm curious about the 'SE' models. What does 'SE' have that non-SE does not?

The SE comes with most of the available options included. I can list what I remember, but it might not be everything.

Rubber floor mat
Tilt wheel
Cruise control
HST linked pedal
dual rear remotes
side mirrors
little plastic toolbox
telescoping lower 3pt arms
armrests on the seat

The difference at my dealer between the regular 3510 and the SE was only 1600 dollars. If you're getting a backhoe and need the rear remote, that alone almost makes it worth the SE package cost. Also, I plan on using the 2nd remote in the future for a grapple...I'll just need to get hoses made, and run them from the rear to the front. Cheaper than a true 3rd function kit.
