Convince me not to buy a Branson 4720CH w/ FEL

I don't have a 4720, I have a 3725H. Before my purchase I test drove and worked several different brands with similar HP and they didn't come close to comparing to the Branson. Now that I have 65 hours on it I can confidently say I don't think I made a mistake with my choice. for what I use it for, snow blowing, flail mower, wood splitter, loader work I couldn't be happier. The quick detach loader is one of my favorites as I take it off when I use the flail mower for better visibility and clearance. Also very easy to go from the bucket to the forks for hauling brush.

Dealer has also been great. I'm not the type of guy to make a large purchase like this without doing a good performance run. Who would want to spend that kind of money just to get it home and then be disappointed? He ordered a 3725H, had it delivered to his lot, loaded it up and brought it to my house where I tried it on my attachments and moved some dirt around with the loader while he waited. If I wasn't happy he would load it back up and bring it back to the shop with no strings attached. Well I wrote him a check and he went home with an empty trailer.

I appreciate all the candid comments, good stuff.

I bought a 3520h a year ago, have 90h on it now. Zero problems that weren't caused by me (may've knocked a hose loose underneath when I was failing to put the backhoe back on... all my fault).

My cummins rattle seems to have gone away after I changed the oil.

Couldn't be happier!

What type oil did you put back in?

I'd prefer the updated 4225CH.

I'd prefer the updated 4225CH.

The 2018 4720CH has a completely redesigned cab, and is 93 inches to top of cab. The 93 inch height was a critical factor if I wanted to get the machine in my shop. I was really surprised at how much more headroom is in the new cab, your head is no longer up in a pocket in the ceiling.

Wow very cool. Thought they were going to phase out the 20 series rather than make it keep up with the 25 series. Doesn't seem to make sense unless perhaps they have a fairly large supply of 20 series powered chassis' waiting in the wings to be assembled and hawked to the masses.

Albeit older, I love my 4720. Was originally shopping the 32-35hp range for my 9 acres and I am sure glad I bought a 47hp. Its a great fit for my use.

The 47 HP (42 PTO) is a perfect size for a 72" bush hog, just enough extra HP to push through heavy overgrowth. The new 25 series is just too low on PTO HP @ 35, I am not sure what they are thinking here. Plus the 20 series weighs 200lbs more than the newer 25 series.
