The best thing I ever did for my diet was giving up sugar(totally).
After 3 weeks I felt 20 yrs younger (no joke). However those 3 weeks were like walking on fire, it wasn't easy.
Now if I eat a donut I fall sleep in 10 minutes and feel like crap again. So its no sweets for me, and Im ready to rip..

I just don't seem to have enough energy these days. Probably just a matter of getting older. I'm 69.

Any vitamins/supplements you use that seem to help? Maybe something your doctor prescribed that's working? I need a little boost to get me out of the easy chair and into the chores.

Forget the pills. Daily exercise and a healthy diet is the answer.

Amen. I just started back on the atkins diet and it has been the only diet that has ever worked for me. Low carbs which translates to no sugar, bread, rice or potatoes for a while. I get to eat meat, cheese, salads with dressings and a few select low carb veggies. After 2 weeks of this phase, I slowly begin to add carbs back in.

I promised the wife I would lose the weight to see if my outrageous snoring would subside and all my other aches and pains would diminish. The blood pressure and cholesterol meds make me feel lousy and hopefully can be eliminated with some solid weight loss and improved diet.

Skip the GF and use the money to buy an even BIGGER tractor! Or buy the tractor and rent a GF once in a while!

I too have little energy. I went to the local Natural type health store that sells supplements and asked about testosterone supplements. The guy said he was in the same boat, but said I absolutely need to see a doctor to determine exactly what and how much I need. BUMMER! Not so easy in Ontario, Canada! The supplement guy said, he feels like a new man!

Just don't get started drinking soy milk as it contains buku estrogen. Your voice will begin to change and you will sprout boobs.

I do, and worry about it. I only drink one coffee in the morning but love that SILK (Soy) coffee stuff!

Hey, getting my own boobs get's me halfway to a free GF! And perky ones at that! If I could loose the gut, I would look fabulous in a one piece!

I bet you would! The almond milk tastes good too. Not sure if they have a coffee creamer.

I stopped drinking sodas, and you definitely need to have a day off, kick back and relax. If you are the go go go type, take a break day and relax, look at all you did, and don't stress about what still needs done, that list is never completed.

It's the regular SILK for coffee that I am hooked on. They also have the almond flavor or a coconut version, none of which I care for. It's the regular SILK or 35% whipping cream in my coffee. Otherwise, I could just skip the whole ritual/habit.

If I didn't have high energy, motivated friends that put me in a poor light, I am sure I would get even less done! Always best to associate with people that pull you up.
