I took possession of a 4720CH this weekend. I can not say enough good things about the CAB, the new cab design is far superior to the previous year models. The seat is fully adjustable and very comfortable with a nice wide stance. The cab has much more headroom than before, no longer is your head up in a pocket. Fit and finish is good, but not perfect. The paint has a slight over spray feeling to it. Overall appearance is impressive, and proportional.
I spent 5 hours bush hogging a very overgrown field and loved every minute of it. Bush hogging our pond dam which is on a 40 degree slope was a breeze as well. I just locked in the 4wd and backed up the slope, when I switched from backward to forward, the hydro held the machine firmly on the slope. The hydrostatic drive makes clearing around trees and fence rows a breeze. The hydro DOES produce additional noise that you just don't get in a geared tractor, but the ease of use is well worth a little noise. I averaged about 1 gallon of fuel to 1 hour of run time at 2500 RPM, which I thought was impressive.
Grill and radiator cleaning is CRITICAL, keep a leaf blower handy if you plan to bush hog heavy overgrowth. The engine never got hot, but I stopped every hour or two and cleaned off the trash.
The interstate battery is a piece of garbage, do yourself a favor and buy an AGM battery so you do not have the worry about acid leaking out the vents like I did.
When I have a chance I will share a few videos. More to come.
