Honestly, it looks easier to change than on my Massey that has two drain plugs. I am curious to know though if that plate that was in his way comes on every tractor, or only when you have the backhoe attachment.
I have no dog in the fight but I enjoy Mike's videos and I have to say popping the hood to change the oil on the RK looks harder than my whole Kubota service:thumbdown:
Sea2,
Not sure about yours, but my MX requires removing TWO drain plugs to change the oil. And the reason I do NOT need to remove
Any side panels, is because the CHEAP folks at kubota did NOT provide side panels. Both sides of the engine exposed to the atmosphere. The RK 55 is a PREMIUM tractor, my MX screams
Economy Model.
Can you tell me when they will offer tractors at Rural King store in Hartland, Michigan, I own TYM tractor (sold under Cabela Brand) and love it so glad to see them now being sold by RK, but not yet offered in Michigan and I知 not excited about driving to Ohio to pick-up or get service if needed.
In every case I have heard of, TYM dealers will sell you parts if you are willing to pay yourself, but there have been some issues getting to the right person at Cabelas to get them to take care of warranty work.Very nice!
As for side mirrors, filters and other parts, will your local TYM dealers not sell to you as a Cabellas owner?
