I picked up a used 6 way rear blade today off craigs list and put it into some service today only to tare up some welds on the pivot shaft to the frame. That not a big problem we can weld it up and reinforce it some. But now the blade and the angle pin holes are out of alignment by one hole. My question is how do these hinges or pivot points go together it looks like a shaft inside of a pipe that's welded on no bolts of nut for removal. How do I go about correcting the out of Alignment of the blade.

May have to get the holes lined up and bolted then bend and weld. Come-along, ratchet straps, and anchor points for them might needed.

Pictures pictures pictures. Several pictures from different angles would help a lot.

Post pictures.

My pivot area was a small pipe in a larger pipe but many are different.

Mine is 4" hardened kingpin inside a heavy walled pipe. My blade is held on by a MASSIVE caster nut & cotter pin on top of the kingpin. How big is the caster nut - well, to get a single Snap-On socket to fit the nut - - $74 plus tax. If I ever need to futz with it - - large pipe wrench will do just fine.

nyone - I don't understand what you are saying. It would take a 2 1/8 inch socket to fit the caster nut on my rear blade.

Oh, OK - I read back a couple posts. You want pics - right after I finish my lunch. What do they say - "don't get your shorts in a twist".

So - there you are. Rhino 950 - 96" - 1050# and the 2 1/8" caster nut. It would appear that I use bird poop as Lock Tite also.

God - I'm glad I'm not this slow every day. Yes - Snap-On sockets are not cheap. But lifetime guarantee. Used one - think its 3/4" - so much the chrome
came off. They replaced it free. Now a days my preferred sockets are black anodized impact sockets.

I'll just bet that socket that was $74 five years ago is $125 today. I'm sure glad I bought all my Snap-On, Proto & Mac tools over 45 years ago.
