2007 3215 HST MAHINDRA Hydrostatic Transmission Issue

When we would press the accelerator pedal the pedal would surge and tractor would not go, so we brought it to our local dealer. They said it need a new hydrostatic transmission pump at a cost of $4800 and no rebuild kits available. I took it to a hydraulic company and they are attempting to rebuild it. They found the problem to be a broken part (pictured below). Any idea on what this part is, or where to find one? Even robbing parts off a old pump is a possibility.

Yes, that is them. There are several of them. They are not on any diagrams or parts catalogs, so I may have to find a used pump. I cant afford $4800.

Take them to a machine shop, see what they would charge to make them.

We took them to one shop and they said the way the ball is pressed on that it would make it difficult to reproduce. We are close to Memphis, so we may try a few other places.

Did you contact Mahindra? I would have raised a sheit storm, for parts availability.

They want to expand in their North American Market. Let them show what they are all about and step up to the plate.

Just talked with the dealer. He said they didn't offer the parts separate from the entire pump. I will do that though as the pump is half of the cost that I paid for the tractor.
