It's not what he said, but how he said it. It was more of his tone than anything else. He has a certain way of ensuring he has the last word, he knows everything (because that's what the kids at school say is true) and he's generally never wrong. His brother is the smarter one at times as he knows when he shouldn't say something LOL I'm amazed sometimes at how much a 13 year old knows.

That said, since he was right in this instance, I had to back him up.

Jump and run the next time and leave the machine.:D:laughing::cool2:
You can feel bad about your cost of repair and then read my post on my gearbox and then you can feel good about your cost of repair.
I currently have one flat on my front and going to fill it with slime and get some more time out of it. Guess there are ups and downs with every modification.
I noticed I'm a bit over 200 hours on my F and my 13 year old grandson has taken over the F except yesterday I gave it a couple of hours after getting the deck back on. Bought him a BX2370 60" mmm to help me but he and wife say it rides to rough and want to use the F well not want but do take the F.:confused3::laughing:

I was actually going to check my gear box oil this weekend due to your thread even though I checked it at the beginning of the season.

Check to make sure the two bolts on each side of the gear box and the two bolts attaching the gear box to the deck are there and tight, that's what I didn't do.

"Do as I say, not as I do!!" :D
Especially after I have done it wrong and spent a bunch of money. Hopefully you all will never see, again, where I had to replace a gear box because the bolts fell out and I never noticed it until the major damage was done.

Kubotas and mowers seem to need a bit more than fuel. I have pictures and repair bills to prove it.:ashamed:
