I attached a thick sheet of aluminum to the fender with the ROPs bolts and used the holes for the non existing handle for supports.

The cup holder come from Wal Mart's bicycle section. I painted the tool box with Rustoleum Safety Blue spray paint.

I haven't figured out how to rotate the photos.

Nicely Done!

Very nicely done!
definitely going to be copying this setup, the two things I asked the dealer about when I picked mine up last saturday was a toolbox and a cup holder. If I'm going to be working outside, I'm definitely going to have a bottle or tervis tumbler full of water with me. I bought this same cup holder a couple days ago and was trying to figure out how to get it on there, now I see.

one question, has anyone tried the Ford/New Holland paint at tractor supply for a match?

The Ford NH paint is NOT a perfect match. Rustoleum Safety Blue is a match if you need just a small amount. You can get Sherwin Williams to mix an exact match, Rigustafson just posted the formula here in the LS owning operating thread.

I used the same holes and mounted a plastic ammo box with a strip of rubber on the bottom between box and tractor. I will be adding the cup holder, thanks for the pics

This isn't the first tool box or cupholder thread I've seen lately. I didn't realize there was so much interest in this topic.

Well anyway, here's my cup holder.

It's made for motion, set inside a gimbal so the drink doesn't slosh out. Big enough to fit a coffee mug and has a slot for the handle. As long as I don't do anything crazy I can drive around with full mug of coffee, no lid, no problem.

Right out of the package, they give you a few options to mount this contraption, but none that I liked. I wanted it right in front of me, oriented toward me, no reaching in strange directions and grabbing a coffee mug with handle facing out. I guess I'm just picky. I spent more than a reasonable amount of time coming up with a solution for that. I've got it attached where the dash panel retaining knob goes.

I made a custom little "Liquid Caddy XL --to-->> LS XR Dash Panel" adapter out of a cheap china C-clamp screw.

It replaces both the dash panel retaining knob and the universal attachment of the cupholder.

I have no toolbox solution yet but it's on the to do list.

Very ingenious. I thought for a second, you were using a 12 volt power outlet...

yeah I saw that, he was actually responding to me asking the same question over there. :) I'm not always this bad, sometimes I'm worse  for the toolbox mod I just got a spray can of the safety blue. When I sold the old tractor the guy wanted my bush hog, so I let it go with it. My dealer sells implements to customers who've bought (or are buying) their tractor there at a 10% discount, so I went back and got one. He said he only had them in blue, which was perfect. I touched up a spot on it today with the spray, and they must use the Ford/NH paint because this was a bit lighter. It's no big deal though. I'll probably see if I can find a quart of it when I get ready to do a few other implements that are in bad need of paint anyway, they might as well match too, right? :)

like you, if I'm getting started early enough, I want to be able to take my coffee along. If it's not early, I still want to be able to take a bottle of water or a big tervis tumbler, got to stay hydrated, right!!

Another item this tractor lacks. I plan to install one of the marine outlets with watertight screw cover and USB ports.
