If I didn't have that concrete block wall on my burn pile, I'd never be so adventurous aka stupid.
Only time fire got out of pit, in fact both times, was when a paid fireman was watching it/supposed to be watching it, and in dry weather
we lit off the lawn for ten feet. When I do it I stand there with the hose for the first ten minutes. I'm no pyro but you never know when a sudden breeze will carry something hot just where you don't want it.
Friend coming over I haven't seen for awhile, going to go to an Italian restaurant in town, only one that knows how to make a real red sauce.
Living near NJ and NY, I got spoiled...
Just drank a big iced coffee, mowed for almost five hours today, nice day but plenty of exercise. I will have earned my glass of wine.
