Poured first cup of coffee. 73° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 89° with partly cloudy skies. Yesterdays trip to east side of Detroit went better than expected. Remember how I would make that trip before east west freeway was built. 1 1/2 hour trip at 4pm. Weather is to warm and humid to do much outside today. Clean shop from projects over the last few days.

Randy, prayers for Ellen's and your mother.

Rick, pond looks great.

Eric, does Max get a bath after swimming in pond water?

Hawkeye, I would put a carbon monoxide detector at floor and ceiling. I got the duel type for living and sleeping areas.

Prayers for those in need.

Good Morning All.

72 outside this AM. Heading to mid 90s today with oppressive humidity in place.
Yesterday I started late on outside work but had not recovered from the previous efforts too much sweat and not enough liquids....
Well the wrong kind of liquids certainly don't help. Lol.

Me and the mower man just are not on the same page. Still no problems found. We shall see what today brings. Not happy that I have to bug them for status. If there is no problem then why isn't it back on my place? Very odd.

Prayers for all. Hope the day goes well for everyone. Be safe.

I have breakfast with the guys this morning, always entertaining. I will visit mom and make a bank run, then the monthly car club dinner/meeting tonight. Groundhog is MIA, but she left me a big hole to repair.

Have a good day gents! Prayers for all, specials for those in need.

Prayers for you too Randy. Worrying about family can be a real emotional load to carry.

warm and muggy this morning, going to low 90's.
On tap for today is more mowing, powerwashing some equipment and probably weeding some cucumbers.

Good morning! 78˚ and rising 22˚ by this afternoon. Lots of sunshine.

The "Drop Zone" is being dropped in today. Yesterday we found a stone countertop for it. The stone still has to be cut and polished and will be finished next week.

Kyle, no plans to attend the Wendishfest. Mom keeps up with all the moves of the Cousins's kids. I have to find out the location if it's Warda or Lincoln.

Good Morning!!!! 62F @ 4:45AM. Sunny. High 82F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

The ten day forecast is still showing highs in the 80s, unusually low for this time of year. But I'm not complaining!

Sounds like the new grandson will have a fun pal in Max when he gets a little older, Eric. Just hope he learns how to swim before Max herds him out to the pond!

Mechanic called yesterday saying he's set an appointment for the smog check for Wednesday, but that he's having trouble finding the special sticker that proclaims the engine alterations were done according to a pre-approved procedure that eases passage of the test somehow. Asked if I had it.:confused2: On two occasions he's offered to show me the sticker, but couldn't find it when I said "yes".

Still waiting on a clamp for the exhaust system before drilling two mounting holes for the muffler on the old BMW, and can't paint the bracket they go in until it's drilled, so painting is on hold for now. Still plenty to do, so I made a start on the electrical system by installing an upgraded alternator. Rectifier, voltage regulator, wiring harness, head and tail lights, handlebar switches, and all the rest of it still have to be cleaned and tested as well, so it'll be a busy week.

Just came in from digging a hole.

Felt a spongy area in the turf above the underground path that the pipe travels from the well to the house.

Water seeping into bottom of hole slowly...have not found the pipe yet, but did find the phone number to the plumber :).
