I'm thinking, I'm thinking!
Tractor
LS MT125 TLBM
I'm whittling my search down. Kioti and Mahindra priced at nearly $25K, way over what I expected for what I consider lesser brands. Still waiting to see LS, Yanmar, TYM and Massey prices. RK prices seem to be fixed, with no 'dealer' room.

What have people been paying in the last year or so for a 1025R TLB with belly mower? Real prices, not web site marketing prices.

It would help to update your profile as to location and maybe property size so that others can help with future questions.

Anyway, prices can vary by region. Some areas have more dealers in closer proximity, so better prices due to competition. Out here there are only 4 different brand dealers within a 40 mile radius. The next are at 200-300 miles away, then the next closest are at 400-500 miles out. These 4 'close' dealers have 'in person, out the door pricing' that is higher than the web prices. They have a captive buyer and know it. Their attitude is "if you don't like the price, you don't have to buy it'.

The JD dealer was the highest, followed by Mahindra, Kubota and NH were about the same. Still much higher than elsewhere.
The closest Kioti dealer was at about 350 miles away and was $3500 cheaper than the 4 local dealers for a comparable model.
When I was looking at different brands, both the K and JD dealers were way high priced. The 1025R TLB would have cost me $23,900 here. Kubota BX was $22,800. These prices were without the MMM.

I ended up driving 550 miles up to Ft Collins CO to buy my LS mt125 TLB. My price up for the tractor was $15,900 out the door. Well worth the cost / time for me to go that far. There are now dealers that will ship cross country, and have heard from people that have bought this way that they had no problems and would do it again.

Many, many variables. Good luck in your search. Internet research can show you different prices in different areas. You may have to search deep and long in order to get actual prices. A site called Tractorhouse ussually has quite a few prices listed for the different brands / models. Again good luck searching. I'm sure others will be along with their opinions.

There's a 2017 1025RTLB with 60" MMM, mechanical thumb on the BH, 66 hours, on the lot at a dealer I looked at in WA (since you don't say where you are I have no idea if that's close) for $23,999.

Haven't priced that model specifically so I don't know if that's a good deal or not.

John Deere 125R Sub-Compact Utility Tractor <-- These guys are very competitive dealer. There is a extra discount available from Deere for buying from your local dealer - ask your local Deere dealer about it.

Case, New Holland, Deere, Massey ... those are the big guys, the ones the huge multi-state Ag companies use.

The two Ks may be at the next level in some areas as far as popularity of homeowners, landscapers, hobby farmers and so on.

The rest I had never heard of until this search began and I don't know of anyone that has one. I'm almost thinking of trying to get some kind of advertising or special discount from LS just to be able to show it around to people who have never heard of them.

But I'm still waiting for someone who has purchased a 1025 in the last few months to chime in on the pricing.

Kioti maybe not so much, but I致e hated every mahindra I致e ever used.

That doesn't make it a lesser brand to anyone but you. I hated the new JDs I test-drove, but that doesn't make it a lesser brand for anyone except me. For someone who loves green paint, anything else is a lesser brand--for them. Same with orange paint: suits you, didn't suit me. I really wish we could give these brand wars a rest, and respect other folks' preferences and choices. And be glad we HAVE choices.

I don’t think you’ll find very many people that would buy a mahindra over X brand if the dealer and price was the same.

I don't love green, not at all. I'm leaning towards blue until I go look at one, then, who knows. I have not been thrilled with the orange or two reds I've seen so far. I may not like blue when I see it.

I do like green .... my green, and I want to keep as much of it as possible while getting the best value. If big Green comes in with a price anywhere near the others, I may be forced to rethink. I don't like the company or how they do business, but if they can get me a decent price at 0%, I may not be able to refuse.
